Agarwood Oil is also known as Oud oil, Aloeswood oil, Eagleswood Ud, Kiara, etc. and is an extremely rare and precious natural oil obtained from several species of Agarwood (Aquilaria sp.) trees. Agarwood originates in North Eastern India, Bhutan and parts of South East Asia, especially Vietnam and Cambodia and also the Philippines and Indonesia including Papua New Guinea. The Agar that we carry is from Aquilaria Agollocha, and it is plantation–grown in Assam, India, which was originally one of the richest areas of naturally occurring Agarwood trees. Though wild Agarwood trees still exist in remote forest regions, they are exceedingly scarce and challenging to acquire. With numerous grades available, the finest quality Agarwood commands an exceptionally high price. In fact, top-grade Agarwood is among the most costly natural products globally, and the oil extracted from wild Agarwood trees stands as one of the most expensive oils worldwide.

Uses Of Agarwood Oil :

  • One of the most precious and most expensive essential oils
  • Three principal uses: medicine, perfume and incense
  • Smaller quantities used for other purposes, such as carving etc
